The End is Here!
Yesterday was the last class of sociology of cyberspace, which is the reason why I had to do this blog. With the end of the class, this blog is done. I no longer will be writing on this blog. I want to give a HUGE thank you to everyone who looked at this blog. Without you guys, it would have felt pointless to do. With your help I was able to get the second highest views of my class which means that I did in fact get the bonus marks. YEAH!!
I hope you enjoyed my blog. Thank you again for taking the time out of your day to look at it!
See them Live!
Yesterday were the Juno’s and even though I never really watched the Juno’s in the past, this year was different. There were actually some good people that attended the event, people I actually knew! But would I want to attend the Juno’s? Probably not, because I don’t know most of the artists and I don’t think that it would be the best time. However, I think that everyone needs to go to a concert sometime in their life. For today’s item: Attend a concert of your favorite artist.
There is a problem with this though. What if your favorite band doesn’t come to your city? Well I think that’s an excuse for a road trip with your friends! How much fun would that be? Driving to a different city, share some laughs with your friends and then go watch your favorite band? I think it is a must do.
Some artists that are coming to Calgary include: Feist, Kanye West, and Oasis
Flying through the Sky
Have you ever wondered what it would feel like to be a bird? Flying through the sky with nothing holding you back? Well you can sort of experience the same feeling of flying like a bird by skydiving. Skyingdiving is today’s item of what you are to do before you die.
Now I’ve gone skydiving and bungee jumping and I must say that even though they’re different they’re both amazing. For me, bungee jumping gave me more of an adrenaline rush than skydiving. Why you may ask? Well I found that with bungee jumping you feel like you’re falling more. With sky diving you are falling but since the ground isn’t coming at you as fast as with bungee jumping, it just seems more like you’re floating. The good thing about skydiving is that the ride is a lot longer than with bungee jumping.
If you’re wanting to just go and sky dive without any training than tandem is the way for you. This is where an experienced sky diver is attatched to your back and does all the work for you. You’re just along for the ride.

If you do want to end up skydiving on your own than take lessons with a certified skydiving company.
How far can you bend your body?
A few years back the Cirque du Soleil show, Aligeria, came to my town. I unfortunately could not go to it, but I have always wanted to go. So today’s item of what you have to do within your lifetime is, go to a Cirque du Soleil show.
What I find interesting if that there’s not just one show, they have multiple types of shows. Some include:
1. Kooza: About a loner looking for his place in the world.
2. Quidam: A different world and the adventures that happen there.
3. Corteo: A parade that a clown imagines.
4. Love: Performances surrounding Beatles songs.
5. O: The whole performance is in water.
Now you may be lucky enough for a Cirque du Soleil show to come to your town. But if it doesn’t come to your town, they do have permanent theaters set up. For example they have a theater in Las Vegas, Orlando and New York.
The Way to a Man is Through his Stomach
With today’s society becoming more busy, more and more people are eating on the go. No one has time to just sit down and eat a home cooked meal. Another problem is the art of cooking is becoming less noticed. I think that everyone should know how to cook. So for today’s item, you are to learn how to cook.
Now cooking does not include Kraft dinner or hot dogs that you boil. I’m talking about getting a real recipe and following the steps. For the beginner maybe take a cooking class or get your mom to teach you one of her famous recipes. Or try this website that I found that offers amazing desserts but are easy to make. For those who want to improve their skills the Cordon Bleu Cooking Institute would be a great place to really refine your skills.
By learning how to cook you can become more independent and impress your friends with your talent.
If you get good you can make a meal in 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

Introduction
This is my first blog. So let me give you a quick introduction of who I am along with what this blog is about. First off my name is Whitney. I am 21 years old and love adventure. I am currently attending the University of Lethbridge. The reason why I am creating this blog is because it is part of a school assignment. We are required to come up with a blog on a topic that interests us and keep it up for the next 4 months. So as I was thinking of what to do my blog on, I kept coming up with blanks. I wanted it to be interesting, but also something that will appeal to a lot of people. I enjoy doing random fun things so I thought that maybe that’s what my blog should be about. So here is the birth of my blog about doing random fun things. More specifically things that you should do before you die. Hopefully when you read my ideas you’ll try them or you can comment to me on suggestions of what you think I need to do before I die. I hope you enjoy reading my blog.
